I began by sketching my initial ideas on the canvas, drawing inspiration from Kundalini art. I started by drawing and then applied the concrete colors to start painting. In an attempt to make my artwork consistent, I believe you will find my use of warm and cool hues correlated together to be pleasing to the eye. The woman represents a tree, her roots reaching deep into the ground. The idea behind my painting is that we are all related to nature in one way or another. I intended for you to identify with my artwork and be inspired to appreciate the beauty of everything around you and reconsider how you live your daily life.
